3 tbsp. brown sugar or 50 g honey

green tea, of your choice, 2 sachets

4 cups apple peels and cores

2 whole cloves

2 cinnamon sticks


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan add the water, apple peels, cinnamon stick, cloves, and honey.
  2. Place over medium heat and boil by mixing with a wooden spoon for 4-5 minutes until the honey melts.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the tea sachets. Leave them in for a few minutes according to the packet’s instructions.
  4. Drain and serve.

Notes

Use organic apples when possible for cleaner peel infusion.

Store leftovers in the fridge and enjoy it chilled as a summer version.
