Description
Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon Bites are juicy, crispy salmon cubes coated in a creamy, spicy-sweet Bang Bang sauce. Ready in under 20 minutes, this protein-packed dish is perfect as an appetizer, dinner, or party snack.
Ingredients
Salmon:
1 ½ pounds salmon (about 4 fillets), skin removed, cut into 1-inch bites
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Bang Bang Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
2 teaspoons Sriracha (or more to taste)
2 tablespoons honey
Chives, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 390°F.
2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Add salmon bites and toss to coat.
4. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey in another bowl. Reserve half of the sauce.
5. Toss salmon bites in the other half of the sauce.
6. Arrange salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed). Cook 4–5 minutes, flip, then cook 4–5 minutes more until internal temperature reaches 140–145°F.
7. Transfer salmon to a plate, drizzle with reserved sauce, and garnish with chives.
Oven Method:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet.
2. Season salmon cubes, bake 16 minutes flipping halfway, until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
3. Toss baked salmon bites in Bang Bang sauce and garnish with chives.
Notes
For best results, don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—work in small batches for even crisping.
Adjust spice level by adding more or less Sriracha.
Serve over rice, in tacos, or on skewers for parties.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat gently in the air fryer.
