Description

Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a decadent dessert made with creamy cheesecake filling and fresh strawberries layered between bread, coated in crispy breadcrumbs, and fried to golden perfection. Perfect for parties or a sweet indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

4 slices thick bread (brioche or challah)

2 large eggs, whisked

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

1. In a bowl, combine strawberries, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.

2. Spread mixture onto 2 slices of bread. Top with remaining slices to form sandwiches.

3. Dip sandwiches into whisked eggs, then coat fully with panko breadcrumbs.

4. Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).

5. Fry sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Use brioche for extra richness or challah for a lighter texture.

Add a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce for an indulgent finish.

Best served warm, but can be reheated in the oven at 325°F to restore crispness.
