Description

Parmesan Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna is a decadent twist on classic lasagna. Layers of smoky bacon, beefy marinara, creamy Parmesan garlic béchamel, and gooey cheeses make this the ultimate comfort food dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Meat Sauce:

1 lb ground beef (80/20)

1 small onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup crispy cooked bacon, crumbled

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Parmesan Garlic Béchamel:

3 tbsp unsalted butter

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 cups whole milk

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

For Assembly:

12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente

2 cups shredded mozzarella

1 cup shredded cheddar

½ cup grated Parmesan (for topping)

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add onion, sauté 4–5 minutes, then add garlic. Stir in marinara, bacon, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes; set aside.

2. Make béchamel: melt butter, whisk in flour, and cook 1–2 minutes. Slowly whisk in milk until thickened (about 5 minutes). Stir in Parmesan and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper; remove from heat.

3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread meat sauce in a 9×13” dish, layer noodles, béchamel, mozzarella, and cheddar. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese and Parmesan on top.

4. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes more until bubbly and golden. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Add spice with crushed red pepper or jalapeños in the meat sauce.

Swap noodles for zucchini slices for a low-carb version.

Make-ahead: assemble up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate.

Freezer-friendly: wrap unbaked lasagna tightly and freeze; thaw before baking.
